The Art of Living Foundation, initiated in 1982 has a presence in over 140 countries worldwide. As a non - Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Art of Living Foundation works in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the united Nations, participating in a variety of committees and activities related to health and conflict resolution around the world. Furthermore, the Art of Living carries out its own projects for the promotion of health and social development in various countries.
